Debbie has spent close to
35 years working in the nonprofit arena,
focusing on program development,
implementation and evaluation. She has
expertise in coaching, strategic planning,
leadership development, conference planning,
grantmaking and community building. Prior to
joining our consulting firm, Debbie was the
Director of Accreditation for Hillel. She has
also worked with B’nai B’rith, BBYO, JCCs and
several health care organizations.

Susan has more than 30
years experience in both nonprofit and
for-profit management. Prior to joining Bloom
Metz Consulting, she served as Executive
Director of the Kristol Center for Jewish Life
at University of Delaware. She has served on
the boards of a variety of nonprofits, such as
the Warsaw Community Day Care and the Fort
Wayne Jewish Federation. Susan came to the
nonprofit industry following 18 years as the
head of a marketing and business consulting
firm serving the healthcare industry,
including clients such as Dow Jones and
Johnson & Johnson.

For more than 15 years,
Ben has worked with nonprofit and for profit
organizations to help them construct dynamic
strategic plans in accord with grantmaking and
project management. As both an attorney and
certified city planner, Ben has spent many
years in the community development arena
creating and implementing long-range plans. He
previously served as the Manager of Planning
and Transportation for the Center City
District and has also worked with the Delaware
Valley Regional Planning Commission and Pepper
Hamilton.
Jessica Kupferman, has
been in the digital marketing industry since
its early days in 1999. Jessica started out as
an online advertising executive for both
Delawareonline.com and Philly.com before
pursuing a Master’s Certificate in Graphic and
Web Design. Her diverse background in
marketing, sales and communications allows her
to strategize, plan and deliver the
eye-catching marketing materials she designs
to a specific target audience. As a
consultant, she has helped all types of
businesses and nonprofit organizations by
creating innovative marketing materials and
developing comprehensive strategies to achieve
their desired outcomes.

Michael has a wide range
of experiences that have led him to Bloom
Metz. Over 23 years in non-profit his
roles as the Regional Director for USCJ
Mid-Continent Region and Executive Director of
Congregation Ohev Shalom in Orlando highlight
10 years working in the Conservative movement
and 9 years with Hillel, including his most
recent position at St. Louis Hillel at
Washington University. Michael has a
Masters in Political Science and Public
Affairs and has been certified as a Fellow in
Synagogue Administration by the North American
Association of Synagogue Executives.
Michael is a strong leader eager to build a
stronger presence for Bloom Metz Consulting in
the Mid-West.
Cynthia has more than 15
years of fund development experience and 12
years of human resources and affirmative
action experience. As a fundraising
consultant, she has partnered with area
nonprofits to assess their development
operations and increase their giving
potential. She has actively volunteered in the
community and has served as a trustee of many
nonprofit organizations including St. Andrew’s
School, Delaware Symphony Association,
Peninsula United Methodist Homes, Inc.
Foundation, Ingleside Homes, Inc., and the
Metropolitan Wilmington Urban League.

Beth has been a
professional fundraiser for 20 years. Her
expertise includes the development and
implementation of feasibility studies,
strategic planning, board development, capital
& endowment campaign management, marketing
and public relations, coporate sponsorship,
event planning and direct mail. Beth
previously served as a Senior Major Gifts
Officer for the School of Engineering of the
University of Pennsylvania and has also worked
for the Jewish Federation of Greater
Philadelphia and the Jewish Federation of
Southern New Jersey.
